Apologies

Why do we always accept apologies from politicians that should have known better? Why do we do this? Fuck your apology, the damage is done. So now I need to accept your apology as an admission of guilt and the hope that you will do better the next time? What do you think?



I for one think that if you want my apology, then accept that the problem is human and do away with those things that make this behavior illegal.



I am tired of the apologies. Again, Judgement. Do not apologize for behavior that you knew was bad and expect me to believe that you are a better person for admitting the mistake. Again, fucking judgement. You decided that you will go this way anyway and apologize for it if it was wrong.



Again, link this to the people they surround themselves with and the people they support.



You must make a choice about what we need at the top of our institutions and if we can not expect our leaders to have the clarity of judgment for them to hold this positions, then we must work to advance our own politics ahead.
